Is whatspp down? User reporting issue with theirs last seen and privacy setting

WhatsApp, the favored messaging application, has been reportedly facing issues in India and a few other parts of the world . consistent with the web site Down Detector, the cross-platform messaging application has been facing issues in India since around 8:39 PM. Until now, over 2200 users have reported issues with WhatsApp on the web site .


Apart from reporting the difficulty on Down Detector, the users are taking it to Twitter. consistent with some users, the difficulty is with the Privacy Settings of the app. Users are unable to vary their privacy settings including the power to point out their last seen to their friends or nobody.
